Clarice contains a simmering hatred for all lifeforms. She may have major psychological problems. She's incredibly good at her job, which is the only reason her cold, combative nature hasn't gotten her fired. The threat of dealing with her is often enough to keep the more combative staff members in line - though she regularly comes into conflict with the staff, and occasionally the patrons, of Café Plaisir. Coco, Nico and Maggy are some of the only people she has a decent working relationship with, as well as Firenze and Jack, who see the best in her. Even someone as brutally harsh as Clarice can do good- but often, it's like pulling teeth to get there.
