Jay was originally sent by Christopher to Oklahoma because Christopher wanted to expand his store's customers and range. Jay does work now in Plaisir, having to do so while his permanent residence is being built, he still maintains his status and job as a tailor although be it now a second job of his. Jay himself can't remember why his boss sent him to the Cafe specifically, but ever since he's been getting himself into a whole lot of situations, plenty of them sticky and ending with him having to clean up afterward.
