The Main Bar is, as the name suggests, the central hive of activity within the Café. Located as it is within the Café's Central Block, directly past the entrance foyer, every guest and customer will pass through it on their way to any other part of the Café. Unlike most of the rest of the Café, it's meant to mostly remain at least somewhat reputable. A thirsty stranger could come in, have a (somewhat expensive) drink and leave none the wiser. Perhaps surprised by the number of pokémon servers, perhaps a tad flustered by some flirtatious comments... but as a rule, anything outright explicit goes elsewhere, usually to a bedroom or other quiet corner.
Description
The main bar is a slightly low-celinged area with dark-wooden panelling around the edges, vaulted beams crisscrossing the area, with tables scattered across the green patterned carpet and a variety of booths, for privacy's sake.
a low wooden wall provides a comfortable inner ring around which a number of booths and sofas are arranged, leaving the outer edges of the room empty for those who are just passing through to do so without overly disturbing the other patrons.
The carpets are not wall-to-wall, but cover the most-walked areas, with wooden tiled floors being revealed elsewhere.
The bar itself serves most kinds of drinks, both from on tap, from the extensive collection of bottles lining the wall behind it, or occasionally from the even more extensive stock from the back rooms.
Underneath the bar is a long nook, enough for a small-ish pokémon to hide in. Why they'd want to do that in the first place is probably best not discussed here.
Common Faces
It's a strange day in the Main Bar when Jack, the Typhlosion is not on duty, cleaning a mug at the bar while watching the goings-on.
Nearby Rooms
To the south is, as mentioned above, the main entrance to the Café. To the north are the kitchens, the Pantry, and a connection to a series of service corridors linking it to Captivate's bar, backstage, and the VIP bedrooms. To the east lies the main corridor into the Bedroom Block, along with a couple of small bathrooms. To the west is the main corridor leading to Captivate's main entrance, Dark Pulse, the various Function Rooms, the Main Longue, the Special Longue, and the stairs leading down to The Dungeon.
