An exceptionally public space in the privacy of the Bedroom Block, the Middle Floor Lounge is an open concourse that wraps around the north, east and south sides of the inner block. Guests who want to leave the privacy of their rooms without committing to the civility of the Main Bar, the performances in Captivate or the distance of The Lounge may find the Middle Floor Lounge a pleasantly unsupervised space for any public activities they choose.
Description
The space is filled with a luxurious assortment of mixed seating and tables along the walls, with plate glass windows affording an overhead view of the Inside Garden. Additional windows line the interior wall, separating the Middle Floor Lounge from the bedroom block's square hallway. The lounge is also located opposite The Spa in the bedroom block, so that the windows provide a direct view to the spa's outdoor terrace. Both the north and south ends of the lounge are by exits to the terrace, forming a loop of public space around the Inside Garden.
The south arm of the Middle Floor Lounge also contains two billiards tables, interspersed between the nearby seating.
