When Firenze came out of his room, turning to head towards the toilet, they were waiting for him, just sitting there silently, looking up at him with uncanny smiles.

"I smell a man..." said Rain Flower, in an admirably savage voice. "Prey approaches..." said Chai, his agreed cue. "Smells sweet..." "Fresh meat..." "...Attack!"
Amongst the crew of the RV Plaisir, the shakeup contnues in the wake of events on the East Coast! As the RV procedes to head back west for the final legs of the Road Trip, it's a story of new beginnings for many of the occupants. A trip well out of the depths and comfort zones of all concerned. A journey to new territores in more than one way.
Whilst it's a new beginning giving and receiving King's Reward for some, for others, it's a time to have a long, hard look at oneself, take stock and decide how best to head forward from here.
This is no more so than for one particular member of the RV's crew. The one who joined with perhaps the lowest expectations made of him and yet who has done more for Plaisir's crew away from home than ever could've been expected, having protected them all in the role of security, whilst never taking a single step forwards in the career he had actually chosen, despite Firenze's promises.
Perhaps it's time to change that...
Perhaps the ally he needed all along was one he had first thought of as an enemy.
