"I have to say," began Firenze, "I'm rather impressed with you, October..."
October's maw opened as if to speak, then he closed it again.
That was not what he was expecting to hear. His maw slowly opened again, with an expression between wonder and horror, then, he spoke, "...Prometheus room, right..?"
Firenze nodded, with a big smile on his face, "That's right, he-"
October strode straight past the big, beautiful Ninetales, right past all of the doors to the at the back on the left. Prometheus' room, which he usually shared with Quippie. The door was slightly ajar.
October pushed his head through.
October was slipping back through the door before he finished looking, drawing in a ragged breath with which to swear, bumping into the wall behind and skidding his tail end around until he was retreating down the hallway, shaking his head all the way.

The Cafe Plaisir Road Trip continues, the East Coast now thoroughly covered by Plaisir's little crusade.
Now headed back west across America, the RV has come across a peculiar little city, a utopian vision given form in this unusual reality. A utopia not as ideal as its creators envisioned, but then, when are they?
Yet it's not the oppressive yoke of a dystopian state which has October oppressed and overrun, today. Oh no. Today October is dealing with something... Big.
