"Good morning, class!" said Firenze, striding in, head high and smile at the ready, catching the sun on his golden fur and seeming to gleam as if nothing had ever been wrong with the world in his presence. "It's good to see you all here on time... I'm here to tell you all that a new chapter is opening in Café Plaisir as a business and it starts with all of you."

This story should be good for jumping right in for new readers or for those coming back.

After months away, October and the gang are back at a new and improved, renovated and re-staffed Cafe Plaisir! In their time away, things have changed, they've changed, but how much remains the same?

Especially after Firenze reveals his newest plan to improve the level of training at Plaisir...

And thus it begins, the last of the three great arcs of October at Plaisir. All things must come to an end, but this is just the beginning of the end!

It's going to be a year-long, thrilling, chilling, fluid-spilling ride, it's going to be hot, it's going to be cool and it's going to be wild.

And I'm sure you're all going to love it. ^.^

As an extra note here, you'll notice there are a lot more names in the acknowledgements than usual! This is no accident! The Cafe has grown very much in the years since I've joined and the world has been expanded and enriched by this process, this new blood. And my stories will by duly reflecting this. As for all of you readers; go check the new writers out! They're more than worth your time!
