"He had woken up that day in his little doggy bed, one of many, all in a row, with a thrill of joy in his heart and a sparkle in his eye! Today he was excited. Not another dull showroom day, medical exam or lesson session... it was his very first day out on show in a Daycare! He was going to get to represent Mastersons! He was so excited!"
This short story, a prequel of sorts, was prompted via a brief by my dear sweet Jake: OddDreams101 as part of the PWYW Charity auction!

EV-54C-C: Colin came to Plaisir long before the likes of October or Chai, but as much as he might at times seem like it, the sweet Sylveon wasn't literally born into the role. He was born at the Masterson's Breeding Compound, a vast industrial site in Texas dedicated to the production of high-quality Pokemon.
This is the story of Colin's first look outside of his box... and the fateful meeting that would ultimately lead to Cafe Plaisir and the Colin we know, today!
