"Mmm..." said Jake, starting to feel concern again, creeping in, at the edge of his perceptions, "Something's wrong, though... I can't..."
"I told you not to think about it," said Ice, his voice suddenly more firm. Jake looked up at him, uncertainly, right into those more brightly glowing blue eyes... they were pretty... attractive... pulling him right in...
A commission for my dear Jake OddDreams101
Here's a link to part one!
In the time before October came to Plaisir, on a grand mountaintop in some obscure Pokemon Mystery Dungeon world, a certain crimson Ninetales and his Ninja Sylveon ally, Jake decided to take a trip together for fun! ...At least, that was the plan.
A little bit of bad planning and preparation lead to a quick rift between the pair, with the over-stressed and quick-tempered Jake storming off on his own, away from the irresponsible Ninetales of chaos. Inadvisable indeed on an unknown Mystery Dungeon mountainside filled with unknown perils!
...As we each soon found...
For whilst October struggles with a deadly blizzard, with the spectre of winters fury threatening to snuff out the guttering flame of his life, the Fairy finds himself in a predicament far more ominous, still... The bewitching spell of an Ice-Fairy Ninetales who claims to hold the secret of healing Jake's broken Fairy powers... in sweet submission to the cold, of course...
Trouble deepens... will either be able to dig themselves free..?
You'll just have to wait for part 3 to see. z: )
I'm rather pleased with the picture I did for this one, which was done over a couple of days with the aid in advice of the dear, great and wonderful Dark_Violet
Who was in turn commissioned by Jake to do their own wonderful picture of the events at the end of Part One, which you should totally check out. It's beautiful and helped inspire me in turn!
