Sean 'Bae' Cody is the deuteragonist of Coda's stories and a constant instigator of drama at Cafe Plaisir. This eccentric Simipour runs the Caramel Carnivale, a Louisiana strip club rivalling Cafe Plaisir, and he delights in leaving chaos and confusion in his wake. Bae tears through life like a coke-addled, sex-addicted Rob Zombie, constantly orchestrating schemes and plots that let him skirt the line between 'party boy' and 'domestic terrorist'. Beyond his frat boy exterior, Bae is a high-functioning sociopath who uses a smokescreen of glitter to get whatever he wants.

Bae goes out of his way to hire people in bad situations, including Thomas and Karma, before recommending them to Cafe Plaisir. He and Jack have a terse friendship, and he has recently been trying to expand his brand of candy-coated influence towards the Fleur du Flamme as well.

Since an alien hell portal opened above the Carnivale, Bae has been the main liaison between Ultra Space and the rest of the world.

He genuinely cares about helping others, but at the same time, he's a danger to those around him. At least he pulls it all off with a smile.
