There's a certain cameraderie amongst smokers, something about being in a world that hates and fears us. Well, add that to being a Fox and a Fire type and well... Sometimes two creatures can't help but find themselves drawn together... and it's been said before that when you play with fire with fire, well... you get a lot of heat...
A quick and pleasant tale I wrote for Wrince on a mutual whim! Not to mention the sad fact that we simply haven't had a Braixen at the Cafe, yet! A terrible mistake one simply had to correct! Well, here she is and in a quick and dirty story that was a lot of fun to do. z: )
This one is only 3k words long! It was something of a challenge. Nearly all of my stories become 5-10k novellas and it's occasionally nice to demonstrate that I can be relatively brief, as well! I also wrote this during a long coach journey between cities, so I had a time limit, too. After polish, I think this one is going to go down well... I certainly like it and a sequel is already in planning!
Pleased with the way this pic came out, too! First of two to be drawn with a new tablet, a kind gift of Wrince and Violet! Look forwards to the second piece... later... z: )
