Apparently I took my statement that future Plaisir parts will be shorter quite seriously, because this is seriously a quick one. In fact this little tale is a self-contained short story in just under 5k words, because I can do that too. I just proved it!
October, finally making himself useful at Cafe Plaisir (after a fashion) finds himself the recipient of some pretty big, small thanks for his efforts and he doesn't let a little thing like still being at work get in the way. Fun ensues!
So, this was a quick and concise little story, which I'm posting now whilst other projects are still in progress. This was a lot of fun to dream up and imagine, having rattled around like a penny in the brain pan for a while. I hope you all enjoy it.
Future in-line chapter parts of Plaisir will of course be longer (if not perhaps, as long as part 6 was) but I may well be tempted to do a few more one-shot stories like this one. We shall have to see!
