This series has been a big thing for me. It originally started with me wanting to give a bit of backstory to my characters, make them a bit more fleshed-out... but it changed. It turned into a consideration for a topic I feel strongly on - the self, the pursuit of one's true identity, etc.. I found out a few feelings and ideas inside me which I didn't know were there beforehand. Ah... but isn't every plant built on its roots? And no matter how big that plant grows, how distant the flower may be, the roots are still there.
