 Nightshade had several cameo appearances in [[October's Jaunt]] and some side series such as the Hentai Kyuubi 1k shorts, where he had his own vignette, but didn't get any serious roles until Year of October's Bite Club series, where he takes the role of primary antagonist.  He has since appeared (briefly) in [[Barley]]'s [[Shadow of Eclipse]] series and in [[Amarok]]'s contribuation to the [[Bite Club Anthology]].

 Nightshade is a bit of a dick.  The hollow star shapes that his markings naturally form resemble Nightshade leaves, from which he takes his name, but it is his personality which is by far the most toxic thing about him.
