==Description==
An effeminate Glaceon who works as a Pokémon Contest star under the supervision of his coordinator, [[Rei]]. He bears the blue-grey coloration of a typical Glaceon, with all the usual markings; his most notable features are his slender figure, feminine facial features, and the simple string necklace he wears that carries his contest award ribbons. He also has a faint French accent.

He is very shy and soft-spoken, and is shown several times to have difficulty standing up for himself. Later stories, however, portray him gaining more confidence, though he still quickly shrinks back into quietness at times.

One of his biggest weaknesses is his fear of his own power -- despite using it routinely for his contests, he's often shown having difficulty with precise motions and, when stressed, briefly letting it flicker out of his control, though never truly dangerously. He is very conscious of this to the point of being self-critical, even at times where no one else would be the slightest bit threatened or, indeed, even notice.

He visits the Café as a customer somewhat frequently, and is [[October]]'s most loyal.

==Sexuality==
Acre is bisexual, though with a heavy preference towards males, ideally those larger and rougher than him. However, he is not against the gentler and more romantic side of things -- he simply hasn't had much time to explore that. He often freezes up in the face of a dominant partner. He is shown to have impressive endurance despite his frailty.

He is almost entirely submissive, but can take the dominant role by channeling his stage persona. Marked by a shift in the narration, wherein he is exclusively referred to as "the Ice Queen," this persona gains a notable increase in projected confidence, even as Acre internally wonders whether or not he's doing things correctly.

The natural state of "Acre," however, is in the submissive role, allowing another to take the lead and trusting them to make him feel good, even if it's only to escape his own thoughts for a while.

His first chronological appearance, in the first chapter of [https://www.furaffinity.net/view/17348366/ Record Zero], is in the role of contest star, weaving his Ice-type power to captivate an audience, and it is shown that this is what he does for a living. However, it is quickly revealed that he is dissatisfied with this life by [[Penthesilea]], an apparently-wealthy old friend of his (whose name he has difficulty pronouncing, so he just calls her Penny).

This prompts his first visit to Café Plaisir, whereupon he meets October and [[Chai]], and quickly grows fond of the former. He wonders at Penthesilea's motives, but can't afford to worry about it.

===Further Appearances===
On a later visit, he meets [[Colin]], one of Acre's most devoted fans. Their relationship has an unsteady beginning, though they would later end up coming to understand one another. Later, [https://www.furaffinity.net/view/32258439/ Record Zero: Rebellion] both displays deeper nuances in his relationship with October, and marks the beginning of his defiance of his coordinator, setting the stage for the rest of his story. However, the series is on indefinite hiatus, meaning the conclusion to this may never be seen.

Acre still relies on Penthesilea for money to actually visit the Café, and can only sneak off when his coordinator is not present, as he tries to keep his forays secret from her. Welcome to the Café Plaisir Wiki! This wiki is dedicated to documenting the café, its [[stories]], [[locations]], and [[characters]]. Café Plaisir is an open universe all about a pokémon brothel.

=What is Café Plaisir?=

Well, the longer answer to your question is…

This is a world like the one you know, with the continents in their age-old formations and borders stretching across countryside. Well… not quite like the one you know. Here, it is a world of Pokémon; Pidgey fly in the sky with Chatot, Eevee and Houndour dash through the bushes, Poochyena scrabble in dark alleyways and Sandile and Helioptile bask in warm sun.

Just off an interstate on the edge of the plains of Oklahoma, nestled near some low, forest-clad hills, lies an unassuming red-bricked building, surrounded by a plethora of winding trails through wild gardens and dense foliage. It is in this distant peace, away from the pesky view of towns and villages, that you will find Café Plaisir.

A Lopunny will meet you at the front with a gleeful wave and an over-exuberant welcome, but don’t let that put you off. Cross the threshold, smile and greet the receptionists as you walk, and continue forwards; with nary a turn to the left or right, you’ll pass through the dark-wood double doors that lead straight into the main bar. This is where the life of Plaisir congregates, where people meet and drink, dine and dance. Between the tables strut a menagerie of green-aproned Pokémon, the waiters of the Café, who may cast you a warm smile as they carry plates of food across the wide room. To your left, a series of corridors lead towards everything from storerooms to a nightclub. To your right, a similar, warmly lit and carpeted corridor takes guests to three floors worth of rooms for a night’s stay, each one ranging from the simple to the nigh-extravagant.

Deceptively normal, no? Rest assured, Café Plaisir is not a place for a quick meal to break up a hike, nor where one would spend a quiet night’s sleep on a short break. No; the friendly, casual exterior of this Hotel-like Café hides a secret, the very essence of the place revealed in the cunning glances between waiters, the knowing grin of the Typhlosion barman, the brush of a paw on your arm…

That’s it. One of those Pokémon waiters has caught your glance, and suddenly, you’re in a room; Innocuous, quiet, the two of you are alone now.

Food and drink aren’t the only items on the menu here.

====Enough poetry, what’s the short answer?====

Well, if you insist.

Café Plaisir is a Pokémon brothel; a den of iniquity in on the edge of the Oklahoman plains. In it, one can get a good meal, a soft bed, and any number of fine Pokémon waiters to fill your waking hours – if you’ve got the money, or else, the charm.

====So, porn?====

For the most part, but not completely! Plaisir is an ever-expanding universe, with a history of plot-driven stories, short fap-fics and works of art both pornographic and otherwise. Naturally, though, this work is almost unanimously adult in nature - there's only so much one can get away with in a brothel before things get out of hand, after all.

====Who created it?====

The original idea was conceived of by my friend, Pali Bakufun (www.furaffinity.net/user/palibakufun), who has a few stories and a bit of art about it on his page.

====Who’s writing in the Plaisir world now?====

The Plaisir universe is a free, open universe for anyone who wants to indulge in its creation and continuing expansion. Indeed, there are currently a plethora of people who are actively both writing and drawing in it! You can find them nearer to the bottom of the journal.

====Can I write/draw in the Plaisir world?====

Not only can you, it's positively encouraged! As said [http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1829557/ here], Pali made the series with the ideal in mind for others to write in it!
To be a part of it all, the basics of the instructions are not to fiddle with anyone else’s characters without permission and to give credit. Oh, and remember rule #1 (Don’t be a douche~). Super simple stuff.
