A new home filled with new enemies and challenges, a new body filled with its own confusion and it doesn't help that his new workplace is a Brothel.

This is hopefully the first chapter of at least a few more I wish to write within the Cafe Plaisir universe, it will certainly be 18+, however, this first chapter does not include a sex scene, just some light teasing here and there - though there will certainly be some in future.

Many thanks to [[October Flixard]] for making the icon, and generally being amazing in helping get me much feedback while writing this. Also just go read like all of his works because he is incredible and the primary reason I am so obsessed with this universe now.

Firenze was never too happy with the Bite Club. Didn't like that we were taking his paradise in progress where Pokemon no longer had to act like battle thralls and giving them an outlet for exactly those violent impulses as they were meant to be henceforth denying.

But as long as we're going to do it between themselves, then why not do it for customers, too? At the least, the one whose blame he lays the whole thing at the paws of might consider taking a special order for a prestigious client, right?

What could be the problem with that?

Well, when that problem is four feet tall and World Championship grade... well...

I suppose you'll all just have to enjoy the outcome. I'm sure you shall...

Life for October at the Cafe is progressing as never before. Fully and quickly adapting to the Swing Shift, October is actually serving customers without offending them and only causing a modicum of disaster and suffering the occasional mishap! ...Most of the time... And okay, maybe this is one of those nights starts out well and then blossoms into all three, but, well... uh... professional development! Sometimes you mount the Dark type... sometimes... well...

And of course, as ever, there's more going on behind the surface...

A little something to shake off all the rust...and, just maybe, to scratch a particular itch...

This is the prologue piece to my upcoming Chasing Ghosts series! The premise for this is simple: a mercurial little Leafeon and a very large, cheery Typhlosion end up getting tossed into a room, and are made to interview for a brothel. What could possibly happen?~

Mostly, this is just a fun little story meant to serve as an introduction to some of the characters I'll have waltzing through Plaisir's halls over the next several months, and to help get me back into the swing of writing. It's been a fair bit.

I don't remember exactly which story I read that caused me to hit the tipping point and start writing up something in the Plaisir setting, but I'm glad I did. It's already been a blast, and has caused me to stumble into a very kind group of fuzzballs.

So, with the one month anniversary of Christmas 2016 coming up, I figured it'd be a wonderful time to write up a holiday piece...

... But no, really. I completed this piece as a holiday gift for the Plaisir folks back in late December, and they all got a chance to view it, but then, as it does, life went a wee bit bass-ackwards topsy-turvy for a while. Now I've re-stabilized, have touched up and corrected this piece some, and can resume writing and uploading smut for all of your pleasure!

Important: This piece takes place after the events of Chasing Ghosts! As that series progresses, I'll create a timeline to keep things in order.

This story also introduces Talia, who is going to be a rather key character to that series. So...keep an eye on her. For anybody actually intending to track that series, the next part will be up by the end of February. =>

The cutest little Zoroark you've ever seen (my favourite Zoroark, in fact) has long been an item around the Cafe, with an introduction written by himself some time ago (Plaisir, Unbound check it out!) and inspired artwork before, such as Shattering Spitroast (to commemorate Plaisir, Unbound) and Knotted Zoromaw to celebrate other fun. He's a great little Zoro with a lot to offer and with so much more to show in the future! Go pay 'em attention!

Yes, in a direct sequel to Plaisir, Unbound, this story tells the tale of a a Wolf and a Fox, Violet and Crimson, who come to see what's taking sweet Shatter so long to come in and join the Plaisir party.

It's been rather a while since my last post! Apologies to all who have been waiting, but there have been various real and fictional world difficulties delaying most of my projects for various reasons! A very short story made in a bit of a rough time, for me.

I quit smoking. As of New Year. So, I'm 30 days without, now. It's killing me. I can't write. Smoking is unbelievably useful for writing, something I failed to appreciate fully until it was gone.

Now I'm a storyteller who cannot tell stories. A pen without ink. A sword without an edge.

Whilst I still lack the spark and burst and vector thrust required to make my creative engine fire the way it should, apparently it works at least to coast in the direction I already happen to be going. So here's a piece made under that inertial power. Here's hoping it reheats and refires the engine, eh?

They pulled up outside not long before noon.

Lexi had to admit that she was nervous. Nervous as to whether this would work. Nervous as to what her future was going to be. Nervous as to how Neon's perceptions of her were going to change once she'd seen how she lived.

...There it was, the Miller Farmstead. Forty acres of snowed-under crops and there, poking out from the overgrown, frozen grass was the crappiest farmhouse in the county. Long in need of a coat of paint that all of them together couldn't afford, it had once been beautiful, you could tell. Made lovingly from well-carved wood, the grand beams had begun to sag. The roof had lost a lot of tiles and the walls were bare, greying wood. It had been just about all they could do to keep all of the windows in.

"Not bad," said Neon.

Lexi looked at her half with concern and half frowning, "What?"

Neon had a wicked grin, "State of the art for Oklahoma, ain't it?"

Lexi narrowed her eyes, "...huff."

Neon gave her a dig in the side and a chuckle, "C'mon, let's go meet yer folks."

Fair readers, it is my utmost pleasure to present to you this year's Cafe Plaisir Christmas Special. Meeting the Wilds! A heartwarming and fun tale filled with that seedy seedy smut that we do oh-so love here!

A sequel of sorts to last year's Cafe Plaisir Christmas Special: Meeting Expectations with which it occurs simultaneously (crossng over briefly near the start.) If you haven't read that, I highly recommend it as some of my best work. Though be warned: Heartstring assault ahoy!

Happy Seasons greetings to one and all! I hope you've been having a good day and I hope you've been having a good year! Be well, wherever you are and whatever you're doing! They pulled up outside not long before noon.

Lexi had to admit that she was nervous. Nervous as to whether this would work. Nervous as to what her future was going to be. Nervous as to how Neon's perceptions of her were going to change once she'd seen how she lived.

...There it was, the Miller Farmstead. Forty acres of snowed-under crops and there, poking out from the overgrown, frozen grass was the crappiest farmhouse in the county. Long in need of a coat of paint that all of them together couldn't afford, it had once been beautiful, you could tell. Made lovingly from well-carved wood, the grand beams had begun to sag. The roof had lost a lot of tiles and the walls were bare, greying wood. It had been just about all they could do to keep all of the windows in.

"Not bad," said Neon.

Lexi looked at her half with concern and half frowning, "What?"

Neon had a wicked grin, "State of the art for Oklahoma, ain't it?"

Lexi narrowed her eyes, "...huff."

Neon gave her a dig in the side and a chuckle, "C'mon, let's go meet yer folks."

I present to you all, Meeting Expectations; a Cafe Plaisir Christmas Tale.

A commission for Coldstone

This is a time of year which means a great many different things to a great many different people. Whether you call it Christmas, the Winter Solstice or anything else, it's a time of celebration.

As per the excellent song, "White Wine in the Sun" by Tim Minchin (look it up,) whatever your beliefs might be, this is a great time of year to spend with those who matter to us most of all. Whomever they may be.

And whatever the difficulties might be.

For it's times like this which tend to bring to light what matters most of all.

Ahhh, the morning shift. Aside from the months spent on the Road Trip, it's taken up nearly all of October and Chai's time at Plaisir, since either of them started. Under Pouncer's watchful gaze, the assembled cast of Plaisir's morning crew dutifully prepares the palace of pleasure for the day to come after each and every night of debauchery, without fail. All the better for their pair of troublesome, but capable Floor Waiters.

But what if that's about to change?

Admission time; this piece was supposed to have been written and posted before Upheaval, which is why this part is part three and Upheaval is now part 4 of the Year of October's series. I honestly just forgot in my enthusiasm to get to that part of the story, sorry. ^.^;

Well, that issue has been corrected now and you all have a pleasant little short story to enjoy with some humour, some shocks, some sadness, some endings and new beginnings!
